Brenna Schmader, registered dietitian

Hello, I'm Brenna!

I graduated in May 2022 with my master's degree in Community Nutrition and Health Promotion after spending six years here at UNL completing my undergraduate and graduate programs. I'm a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and a Licensed Medical Nutrition Therapist. I grew up in Bellevue, Nebraska as an only child in a family of ten. I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors. I also like listening to music, drawing, spending time with my cat, and visiting coffee shops and bakeries. I'm passionate about health equity, diversity, and inclusion. My practicing philosophy is to meet people where they're at; making holistic, contextualized recommendations. Everyone is the expert of their own life and health looks different for everyone.

Do you have any food and nutrition-related questions? Feel free to schedule a consultation or stop in and say hi! You can contact me at bschmader2@unl.edu or 402-472-0880
